The party was great! We ended up delaying it a week because of illness with many our invitees. We ended up having 16 people at our party! It was so much fun! We had a salad bar with many different toppings that were fun and different than what we usually use to make a salad. I had blue cheese, feta cheese, sun flower seeds, walnuts, almonds, dried cranberries, dried apricots, just to name a few. I also made three homemade salad dressings. The best was a mayo, parm. cheese, milk, fresh lemon juice dressing that I found online. It was INCREDIBLE! My husband kept saying "you are going to have a SALAD party?" like it sounded boring. I was so excited about it and I think my excitement was contaigous. We decorated the house with the Dole favors. We ended up making a homemade spaghetti sauce and homemade garlic bread that was devoured! The party was a huge hit. My friends were so excited to hear about how I was able to host this party. They saw my posts on Facebook for more parties from Houseparty that I hope to host. They were all excited over the possibilites for more parties! Thank you houseparty for choosing me to host this Dole party! It was a perfect match for me, my family and our friends!
